Position matters.
TRICONTINENTAL attracts international investment to the Canary Islands and designs business platforms for growth across Europe, America and Africa. We don't simply look for companies for the Canary Islands — we identify companies with the potential to use the Canary Islands as a strategic position within their international expansion.
The Canary Islands are not the destination.
They are the position.
The Canary Islands can become a strategic platform from which a company operates, invests and grows across Europe, America and Africa. Their membership of the European Union, their Atlantic position, their international connectivity, their business ecosystem and their economic and tax framework create a unique combination.
The Canary Islands as a platform. · Three continents as a market. Why the Canary Islands?
A combination that is hard to replicate. The Canary Islands bring together, in a single territory, five elements that are particularly relevant to certain international strategies.
The best tax regime in the European Union
The Canary Islands have their own Economic and Tax Regime (REF), integrated into the Spanish and European legal order, with instruments designed to encourage investment and economic activity.
A company could pay 0.4% Corporate Income Tax or less, depending on the structure and activity of the project.
In addition, the REF includes further deductions, allowances and incentives. Some examples:
- R&D&I: 45%–75% deduction
- Investment in new fixed assets: 25% deduction
- Film and audiovisual productions: deduction of up to 54%
- Production of tangible goods: 50% allowance
- Repatriation of dividends to the parent company (EU / countries with a double taxation treaty): exempt
The application of incentives depends on the activity, structure and investment of each project and on compliance with the requirements of current legislation.
Three continents within reach
The Canary Islands combine a strategic Atlantic position with infrastructure that connects people, goods and data on a global scale.

PEOPLE · GOODS · DATA · CAPITAL
Europe. America. Africa.
The Canary Islands are European Union territory, strategically positioned in the Atlantic between three major economic areas. This is nothing new: for centuries, the Canary Islands were a compulsory stopover on the routes between Europe, America and Africa. Ships waited here for the trade winds to cross the Atlantic; goods and capital were redistributed from these islands to the three continents.
That historic role as a tricontinental platform is now taking on a new business dimension. For certain companies, this position can become a base from which to operate in Europe, develop opportunities in Africa and connect with America.
Geography is not the backdrop. It can become part of the strategy.
Competitiveness with EU guarantees
The Canary Islands are part of Spain and of the European Union. For an international company, this means access to a European legal environment and, at the same time, to a specific and highly competitive economic and tax regime.
SINGLE MARKET ACCESS · RULE OF LAW
A network that makes execution possible
A business platform is not built on a corporate structure alone. It needs people, knowledge, suppliers, partners, talent, financing, institutions and connections.
TRICONTINENTAL provides access to the ecosystem needed to turn a strategy into a real operation.
What can your company use the Canary Islands for?
A platform can serve many functions. The question is which one makes sense for your strategy.
Establish a business base within the European Union with access to the single market and highly competitive taxation.
Use the Canary Islands as an Atlantic position to develop operations and opportunities in African markets.
Integrate Europe and America within a coherent, tax-efficient international structure.
Take advantage of the EU's most competitive tax framework where the structure and activity of the project allow it.
Procurement, services, logistics, technology or administration from a single strategic European location.
Explore new international opportunities and, where it makes sense, the Canarian and Atlantic market itself.
Tricontinental Platform
The Canary Islands as a platform. Three continents as a market. A Tricontinental Platform is a business architecture designed to use the Canary Islands as a strategic position from which to operate, invest and grow. Our model integrates four inseparable dimensions.
The Canary Islands as a European platform between Europe, America and Africa. A unique geographical position within the EU, with a tricontinental vocation proven by centuries of commercial history.
Corporate, tax and legal architecture tailored to each project. Designed before execution. No templates.
Institutions. Grants. Financing. Partners. Talent. Markets. Not just the map — open doors.

Because we combine four perspectives that are usually kept separate.
We understand where your company wants to go and what position it should occupy in international markets.
We design how it should be organised legally and fiscally to reach that position efficiently and securely.
We connect the project with the people, institutions and resources needed to turn the strategy into reality.
We support the establishment until the operation is up and running. We don't deliver a report. We build an operation.
The TriContinental Method™
From opportunity to operation. We don't start with a solution. We start by understanding the project.
We actively identify companies and investors with the potential to use the Canary Islands as a platform.
We analyse the business model, markets and objectives to determine whether the Canary Islands offer a real advantage.
We build the right business, tax and operational architecture for the project.
We coordinate the establishment and start-up of the operation in the Canary Islands.
We provide access to partners, talent, suppliers, financing and institutions.
We stay alongside the company as the project evolves and new opportunities arise.
